Inviting someone into your home to help with cleaning can feel like a big step. You may be unsure what needs doing, worried about the condition of the property or simply ready for someone else to take on a job you’ve been putting off.

We’re Lisa and Lucy, the people behind Safe Sterile Solutions. Based in Norwich and working across Norfolk and East Anglia, we offer deep cleaning and specialist cleaning services with a practical, personal approach.

There’s no need to apologise for asking for help. Our first priority is to understand what you need and discuss how we can help.

When might a property need a deep clean?

Regular cleaning helps keep everyday dirt under control. A deep clean gives more time and attention to built-up grime and areas that may have been overlooked or difficult to maintain.

Kitchen grease

Build-up that your usual routine no longer shifts.

Bathroom build-up

Limescale and grime needing more attention.

Rooms needing care

Areas that have become difficult to maintain.

You might consider one if:

  • Kitchen grease or bathroom limescale has become difficult to remove.
  • Rooms need more attention than your usual cleaning routine allows.
  • You’re preparing a property for new occupants.
  • A home has been empty for some time.
  • Illness, bereavement or other circumstances have made cleaning difficult to manage.

You don’t need to wait until the whole property needs attention. You can speak to us about particular rooms or areas, too.

We work together, with our own strengths

We always work as a team, and we each bring our own skills and strengths to the job.

I’m Lisa, and I particularly enjoy tackling living rooms and bedrooms, while Lucy prefers getting stuck into bathrooms and kitchens. We’ve found a rhythm that works well for us, sharing tasks and supporting each other throughout the clean.

That teamwork is a big part of how we run Safe Sterile Solutions. We discuss the work together, pay attention to the details and keep you informed along the way.

What’s included in a deep clean?

Every property is different, so we agree on the work individually. Depending on your requirements, the condition of the property and safe access, this may include:

  • Removing grease and grime from agreed kitchen surfaces.
  • Thoroughly cleaning bathroom fixtures and tackling limescale where suitable.
  • Cleaning doors, skirting boards and other agreed surfaces.
  • Cleaning accessible areas behind or beneath furniture and appliances, where safe and agreed in advance.
  • Giving particular rooms or neglected areas a more thorough clean.

Before work begins, we’ll explain the agreed scope and price, including any exclusions. If we identify something that could change the work or cost, we’ll discuss it with you before proceeding.

Some staining, wear or damage may remain after cleaning. We’ll be honest about what we believe is achievable.

What if the property needs specialist cleaning?

Some issues need a separate assessment rather than a standard deep clean. These include sharps, bodily fluids, suspected mould, pest contamination and unidentified substances.

Please tell us about any known or suspected hazards when you enquire. This helps us assess the job and plan an appropriate approach.

Cleaning may also need to be supported by other work. For example, cleaning mould-affected surfaces does not resolve an underlying leak or damp problem. We’ll explain the limits of the cleaning work we can offer.

What do you need to do before we arrive?

You don’t need to make the property look presentable for us. We’ll discuss any preparation beforehand, such as arranging access, securing pets or identifying fragile and sentimental belongings.

If clutter or unwanted items prevent access to areas you want cleaned, let us know so we can discuss whether clearance is needed as part of the plan.

Start with a conversation

Whether you’re enquiring about your own home, helping a relative or managing a property, you don’t need to know the name of the service you need. Tell us what’s causing concern and what you’d like help with.

Contact Safe Sterile Solutions to discuss deep cleaning in Norwich, Norfolk or elsewhere in East Anglia and request a quote.

We’ll listen, talk through the practical details and help you understand the next step.
